Andy Baum composes, sings, plays; as long as he can remember. Ever since he was 4 his life revolved around music: five albums, more than 400 concerts – as forerunner for Bryan Adams, INXS, even Chuck Berry – and 13 years into film music. From that perspective Andy is easily musical decathlete.
But Andy is versatile in real sports too. To torn ligaments in his left knie do not stop him from running a half-marathon twice a year, or to passionately play badminton or hit the slopes as his Austrian descendancy dictates.
“Although I haven’t gotten to know the protagonists myself I have developed great sympathies towards them. That made my work a lot easier. At no point did I feel someone being put on display. Jan and Marcus achieved an intimately balanced closeness at all times.”
